Somehow, I ended up staying in Japan for another week.
However, this time it was completely unplanned. We only made the decision after we had already arrived in Japan. Since I suddenly had an extra week to spend in Japan, the first thing that came to mind was going hiking.

We cycled from Arrowtown to Gibbston Valley, covering a small section of New Zealand’s Great Rides. Gibbston Valley is well known for its wineries, so we stopped there for lunch and enjoyed it with a glass of local wine
Christchurch-NZ South Island trip
In Christchurch, we did three popular activities: taking the gondola, punting on the Avon River, and having dinner at the Tramway Restaurant.
